The items shown in the image are gas stove control valves (also known as gas taps or burner valves) with integrated auto-ignition systems. These components are used to regulate the flow of gas to the burners on a gas hob or stove.
Valve Body Assembly: This is the main body, typically made of aluminum or brass, which controls the passage and regulation of gas flow.
Shaft: The part that a control knob (not pictured) connects to, allowing the user to manually adjust the flame intensity (from low to high) or turn the gas on/off.
Ignition System: The black wire connects to a micro-switch and an ignition electrode (the white ceramic part with the metal tip). When the knob is turned, the switch activates a pulse igniter (not pictured) which creates a spark to light the gas.
Safety Features: Many modern valves, including those with ignition, can also incorporate flame failure devices (FFD) or thermocouples, which automatically cut off the gas supply if the flame goes out unexpectedly, preventing leaks.
