This Hakko lamp shade illuminates the whole room, has a very long life and lights for up to 18 hours at full charge. It has a 6V built in battery that can be replaced after several years of service. When connected to charge and still on, it lights up automatically. It has overcharge protection. If not used for more than 3 months, drain the battery and charge it to full.
