You only need two wires for I2C communication: you will get relative humidity readings and very accurate temperature readings.
Sensor: Only need to connect four pins. One for VCC, one for GND, and two data lines for I2C communication. The breakthrough board has a built-in 4.7k pull-up resistor for I2C communication.
