I bought this and a 20meter cat6 cable. Tried to connect my gaming setup to my tv and it didn't work. It kept flickering and bottom image was distorted totally unusable. I thought maybe the problem was the Ethernet cable but it works okay on my local network. I'm guessing with a shorter cat6 cable of like 5meters and below it would would work but not long cables.
