AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - The Blower Motor Resistor is an important part of every car. It pertains to the car's heating and cooling system. Without this important part, your car may blow out even when you have the lowest and middle settings.
BETTER HANDLING PERFORMANCE - An A/C blower motor resistor uses resistance to control the speed of the blower motor. Many blower resistors control current to the blower motor in all speeds except high. In high speed the resistor is bypassed and power is fed to the motor directly from the switch.
FUNCTION - The blower motor resistor is a component of a car' s heating and ventilation processor. It operates the rate of the blower motor. HVAC blower motors are found in vehicles where the blower motor rate has many fixed rates of speed (generally four or five). A burned-out resistor will need a new HVAC blower motor resistor installed.
