The Adl5801 Integrates A High-Linearity Double-Balanced Active Mixer Core And A Local Oscillator (Lo) Buffer Amplifier To Provide Wide Dynamic Range Frequency Conversion From 10 Mhz To 6 Ghz.
Proprietary Linearization Architecture Enables The Mixer To Provide Enhanced Ip3 Performance At High Input Levels. The Offset Trim Feature Optimizes Input Linearity, Single-Sideband (Ssb) Noise Figure, And Dc Current Through A Single Control Pin.
Optional Input Power Detector For Adaptive Bias Control. The Device'S High Input Linearity Enables It To Meet The Demanding Requirements Of Mobile Phone Applications Where Blocking Signals In-Band Can Cause Dynamic Performance Degradation.
The Adaptive Bias Function Enables The Device To Achieve High Ip3 Performance In The Presence Of Strong Blocking Signals. When Blocking Signals Are Eliminated, The Adl5801 Automatically Reduces Bias For Low Power Consumption, And The Balanced Active Mixer Configuration Provides Excellent Lo-To-Rf And Lo-To-If Leakage, Typically Better Than −40 Dbm.
When The Load Is 200ohm, The If Output Provides A Voltage Conversion Gain Of 7.8 Db (Typ). The Wide Frequency Range Of The Open Collector If Output Makes The Adl5801 Suitable For Use As An Upconverter In A Variety Of Transmission Applications. The Module Has A Shielded Shell And An Anti-Reverse Protection Diode.
