Curative treatment of trypanosomiasis caused by Trypanosoma vivax and Trypanosoma congolense.
Dosage and Mode of Administration
Administration by deep intramuscular injection. Dissolve one tablet in 10ml of sterile water. If this is not available, boiled then cooled water can also be used. Shaking may accelerate the dissolving. The result is a 2.5% solution for injection. The reccomended dose is 1mg homidium chloride per kg body weight or 1 ml of the prepared solution per 25kg of body weight.
