Description of Luminous 630®

1. What It Is

Luminous 630® is a patented active ingredient developed by NIVEA, specifically formulated to target and reduce dark spots (hyperpigmentation). 

It was developed after 10 years of research, where scientists tested more than 50,000 molecules to find the most effective one. 

Named “630” because among the many molecules the one labeled #630 showed the best balance for regulating pigmentation without being too aggressive. 

2. How It Works (Mechanism of Action)

Dual-action at the cellular level:

1. It reduces existing pigmentation, helping to lighten current dark marks. 

2. It regulates melanin production to prevent or slow down the formation of new dark spots. 

This targeting of both current and future pigmentation is what gives Luminous 630® its power. 

3. Efficacy / Clinical Results

According to NIVEA, visible results in 4 weeks when using the Advanced Treatment Serum. 

In longer studies:
