1. This product supports the installation of 1 U.2/U.3 SFF-8639 hard disk in the PCIe NVMe M.2 NGFF SSD interface of the machine.
2. The hard disk signal line goes directly to your machine's PCIe NVMe M.2 NGFF SSD slot, and the conversion does not require passing through the chip, and there is no restriction on the hard disk performance, etc.!
3. Support NVMe M.2 2280 hard disk interface installation, do not support SATA protocol M.2 interface installation.
4. This product supports PCIe 4.0 3.0 protocol. If your machine M.2 interface supports PCIe 4.0, the hard disk is 4.0, and the data cable supports 4.0 (some data cables cut corners, and some signal cables are not shielded), then you can run PCIe4.0 speed. Note that if any of the above three links does not support 4.0, the hard disk will not run at 4.0 speed.
This adapter card only supports the use of SSF-8611 to SFF-8639 cable to connect U.2/U.3 SFF-8639 solid-state hard disk, does not include SSF-8611 to SFF-8639 cable!
Points to note before purchase:
1. Please make sure that your motherboard has a PCIe NVMe M.2 NGFF SSD slot and does not support SATA M.2 NGFF SSD slots. Please consult your motherboard official customer service for details. Please do not buy if it cannot be supported!
2. It does not support inserting SFF-8611 to 4 SATA (or SAS) cables to connect SATA or SAS hard disks.
3. Only SSF-8611 to SFF-8639 cables are supported for connecting U.2/U.3 SFF-8639 SSDs.
4. U.2 SFF-8639 SSDs are not SAS interfaces. Some SFF-8639 interface hard drives (such as for Samsung's PM1735) are single U.3 mode and cannot be used.
5. The SFF-8611 cable is inserted from the hard drive fixing column! Please pay attention to the cable insertion direction!
