Moran Agriculture GD10 (Rtd) .

Moran Agriculture for Grade 10 is a coursebook developed in line with the Competency Based Curriculum. It facilitates the development of specified competencies, skills, knowledge, values and attitudes in Agriculture.
The learning activities in the Learner’s Book are inquiry-based in order to equip the learner with the necessary skills.

This coursebook has the following key sections to facilitate learning:
*The Introduction section introduces each sub strand to stimulate the learner’s curiosity in the concept to be studied.
*The Figure it out section saliently introduces the concept by spurring the learner’s critical thinking skills.
*The Learning activity section forms the basis of each skill and concept. This section utilises simple-to-complex approach for learners to be able to achieve inclusive and gradual learning. Learning experiences in each activity logically address the three domains of learning while catering for different learning styles.
*The Summary section reinforces the concept learnt through well-detailed information.
*The Self-review corner is used by the learners to evaluate themselves on mastery of the concepts learnt.
*The Extended activity section allows learners to perform real-life tasks in their immediate environment.
*The Revision Exercise section at the end of each sub strand provides adequate tasks to assess the learner’s understanding of the concepts learnt.
