History and Citizenship Grade 10 is a comprehensive coursebook developed in line with the Competency Based Curriculum. It has been prepared after an in-depth research to enable the learner to acquire specified knowledge, skills, competencies, values and attitudes as presented in the Grade 10.

*Introduction: Introduces the sub strands to set the foundation of learning,
*Did you know? This section introduces the concept by giving relatable activities that help the learner build an insight into the concept at hand.
*Learning activities: This book presents @ variety of exciting learning experiences that enable the learner to acquire knowledge, skills, competencies and values. The items in each activity are developed to address the three learning domains while taking care of the different learning style.
*Assess yourself: This section contains activities that the learner should carry out to assess self on the specific learning outcome.
*Summary notes: This section contains comprehensive notes that enable the learner to confirm their findings after conducting research.
*Extended activity: This section presents tasks that the learner is supposed to carry out beyond the lesson.
*Fieldwork: This section presents tasks that the learner is supposed to carry out to discover or explore the environment.
