How to find a breakpoint:
1. Connect one of the wires to the live wire and connect the other wires to zero or ground to form a loop.
2. Open the test pen and measure from the cable to the live line in the opposite direction.
3. When measuring a normal cable, the battery indicator lights up red and a beep sounds. When the test pens light is off and there is no sound, the position is the breakpoint position.
