1. Replacmenet for GM All Series, replacmenet for Buick All Series. There are 4 radio frequency transmitting pressure sensors and serial data circuits to perform the read‑in mode function of the tire pressure monitoring system. Every time the tire rotates, the body control module is replaced, or the sensor is replaced, the sensor must be read in again.
2. Once the reread mode is enabled, the identification code of each sensor will be read into the body control module memory. When reading the sensor identification code, the body control module buzzes, indicating that the sensor has sent the identification code, and the body control module has received and read it in.
3. The body control module reads the identification codes in the correct sequence to determine the sensor location. The first identification code read is assigned to the left front position, the second is assigned to the right front position, the third is assigned to the right rear position, and the fourth is assigned to the left rear position. The turn signal lights will light up to indicate the correct reading sequence.
4. There is a low‑frequency coil inside each sensor, the design is reasonable and scientific enough. When using tire pressure monitoring in enable mode, it generates a low‑frequency transmission signal to activate the sensor well.
5. In static mode, each sensor performs a pressure measurement sampling every 30 seconds. If the tire pressure increases or decreases by more than 8.3 kPa (1.2 lbf/square inch) compared to the last measured value, a re-measurement will be performed immediately to confirm the pressure change value.
6. If the air pressure does change, the sensor transmits in read-in mode. In the tire pressure monitoring read-in mode, after receiving the read-in mode transmission signal, the body control module assigns the sensor identification code to the vehicle position corresponding to the read-in sequence.

Item Type: TPMS Reset ToolMaterial: ABSColor: OrangeBattery: 1 x 9V(Not Included)Fitment: Replacmenet for GM All SeriesReplacmenet for Buick All SeriesHow to Use:1. Depress the parking brake (manual transmission only).2. Put the ignition switch in the ON position and use the diagnostic tool to start the Tire Pressure Sensors Learn mode. If you hear two chirps from the horn, it means that the re‑reading mode has been activated. The front left turn signal will also light up.3. Starting from the left front tire, make the antenna of the tire pressure monitoring tool face up and against the sidewall of the tire near the rim of the valve core. Press and release the start button and wait for the horn to chirp. Once the horn chirps, the sensor information is read in, and the turn signal light at the next position to be read in will light up.4. After the horn sounds and the front right turn signal lamp lights up, the remaining 3 sensors repeat the steps in the following order:4.1 Right front4.2 Right rear4.3 Left rear5. When the left rear sensor has been read in and the horn also chirps twice, the read‑in process is complete and the body control module exits the re‑reading mode.6. Set the ignition switch to the OFF position and adjust all tire pressures to recommended values. See vehicle certificate, tire label, anti‑theft and repair part identification number label.
Alternative driver information center re‑read the activation method:1. Depress the parking brake (manual transmission only).2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and use the Driver Information Center (DIC) display control to start the re‑reading mode. The horn emits two chirps to indicate that the re‑reading mode has been ac3. Starting from the left front wheel, use one of the following methods to activate the tire pressure sensor:
Make the antenna of the tire pressure monitoring tool face up, against the sidewall of the tire near the rim of the valve core. Press and release the start button and wait for the horn to chirp. Once the horn chirps, the sensor information is read in, and the turn signal light of the next position to be read in will light up.
Warning: Excessive inflation of tires may cause personal injury or damage to tires and wheels. When increasing the tire pressure, do not exceed the maximum inflation pressure marked on the sidewall of the tire.
Increase/decrease the tire pressure for 8-10 seconds, then wait for the horn to chirp. After 8-10 seconds, when the time for the tire pressure to increase/decrease is reached, the chirp of the horn may be insufficient or last for 30 seconds. Once the horn chirps, the sensor information is read in, and the turn signal light of the next position to be read in will light up..
