By disconnecting the power when it is bad, the Refrigerator Protector safeguards against short term and long term damage to ensure higher efficiency from your appliances. 90 seconds start-up delay is built-in to protect against frequent fluctuations to ensure proper compressor shutdown and start-up. The fridge GUARD will disconnect the power to your mains if it goes above a pre-set limit, it will re-connect automatically only after the supply has returned to acceptable limits after 3 minutes wait time.
