The dual SSD expansion board does not support PI5 booting from SSDs. If booting from SSD is required. Must use a single SSD expansion board.
X1004 is a dual hard drive PCle M.2 NVMe protocol M.2 so lid-state drive expansion board designed specifically for Raspberry Pi 5. It supports NVMe protocol M.2 interface hard drives high-speed read and write fast data transfer and ultra fast startup.
X1004 is specifically designed to be pla ced on top of for Raspberry Pi 5 similar to traditional HAT. It provides a 40 pin head for easy access to GPIO allowing you to still expand your favorite HAT.
In addition it is fully compatible with the official passive cooler of for Raspberry Pi ensuring efficient heat dissipation. The mounting holes and brackets not only protect the so lid-state drive but also effectively dissipate heat achieving reliable performance. Built in LED lights indicate read or write status.

Tip:Note that X1004 is specifically designed for data storage purposes and currently does not support starting NVMe with existing firmware.
The pictures are for display only. This product does not include for Raspberry Pi 5 motherboard and NVME SSD which need to be purchased separately.
Supports NVMe hard disk protocol.
Supports 2 2280 NVME M2 SSD disks. Currently it is not supported to start NVMe using existing firmware.
