DIY eyelash extensions involve applying individual lash clusters or segments to your natural lashes using specialized adhesive, allowing for a customizable, long-lasting lash look that mimics professional extensions. The process generally requires lash adhesive, tweezers or applicators, and lash segments, and involves precise placement along your natural lash line after prepping and cleansing the eye area.
Sanitize hands and tools.
Curl natural lashes and clean the eyelid area.
Apply a thin layer of lash adhesive to the base of an individual lash or cluster.
Wait 10-15 seconds for the glue to become tacky to avoid a visible glue buildup.
Using tweezers or an applicator, carefully place the individual lashes underneath or on top of your lash line, starting usually from the center of the eyelid.
Blend the extensions with natural lashes by brushing them together.
Repeat as desired for desired lash volume and length.
Let them dry completely before applying makeup or touching the lashes
