Greenlife Pentagon® 50 EC – Broad-Spectrum Insecticide For Effective Pest Control

Pentagon® 50 EC is a highly effective insecticide formulated with Lambda-cyhalothrin 50 g/L, designed to combat a wide range of sucking and chewing insect pests. Its dual action—contact and ingestion—ensures rapid knockdown and extended residual activity, making it ideal for protecting both edible and ornamental crops. 

Key Features:

• Active Ingredient: Lambda-cyhalothrin 50 g/L (Pyrethroid group)
• Formulation: Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC)
• Mode of Action: Disrupts the nervous system of pests upon contact or ingestion, leading to paralysis and death.
• Target Pests: African bollworm, aphids, leaf beetles, leafminers, pod borers, thrips, whiteflies. 
• Crops: Suitable for a broad range of edible crops (e.g., tomatoes, cucumbers, brassicas, legumes, cereals) and ornamentals (e.g., roses, carnations). 
• Application Rate: 0.5 ml per liter of water. 
• Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): 3 days for vegetables. 
• Re-Entry Interval: 12 hours post-application. 

Application Guidelines:

• Preparation: Mix 0.5 ml of Pentagon® 50 EC per liter of water.
• Timing: Apply at the first signs of pest infestation or during peak insect egg hatch periods.
• Method: Conduct a full-cover foliar spray, ensuring thorough coverage of all plant surfaces. 
• Frequency: Maximum of 2 applications per season, spaced 10 days apart. 
• Compatibility: Compatible with most commonly used pesticides and liquid fertilizers. However, a compatibility test is advisable before mixing in large quantities.
