What it is:
Salicylic Acid is an oil-soluble beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that penetrates pores to dissolve excess oil and dead skin cells. Widely used for acne, blackheads, and rough texture.

How to use:

• Usage rate: 0.5–2% in leave-on; up to 3% in rinse-off formulas.
• Works best in formulas with pH 3.0–4.0.

• Add during the cool-down phase (below 40°C).
