Some of these creams are quite strong in claims (some say “7 days” whitening, etc.)Because many whitening / lightening shower creams (especially in markets without strict regulation) may:

Use strong active ingredients or high concentrations of them that can irritate skin, or even cause damage if skin barrier is weak.

Include bleaching agents or skin-lightening substances whose safety may be questionable in high doses or with frequent use.
