Product details
Demelan Cream is a depigmentation cream used to treat skin pigmentation and skin discolouration or patches formed due to acne, sunburns or any other reason. It contains glycolic acid, kojic acid and arbutin as active ingredients that work together to keep the skin healthy and radiant. Glycolic acid works by breaking the bonds between the outer layer of skin cells, including dead skin cells, and the next layer of skin, which creates a peeling effect, making the skin appear smooth and even. Alpha arbutin reduces the production of melanin (pigment responsible for skin colour) in melanocytes hence clears hyperpigmentation. Kojic acid inhibits and prevents the formation of tyrosine (an amino acid needed to produce melanin), thus exerting a skin lightening effect.
