Celery oil is extracted from the seeds of the celery plant, has been used medicinally and aromatically for thousands of years in Ayurvedic traditional medicine. It has a complex aroma with spicy, earthy and sweet notes that is frequently used in perfume and massage oil blends.

To treat arthritic joints, sore muscles and menstrual cramps, blend 2-3 drops of celery oil with 10ml of carrier oil and massage it into the affected area. Add 5 drops of the oil to a warm bath to soothe your body.
To make a natural mosquito repellent, mix a few drops of celery oil with a carrier oil or skin lotion and apply it liberally to your feet, legs and other exposed areas of skin. You can also diffuse this oil in your home to keep out insects.
