Preheat your oven to 400- 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Put the sizzle plates in the oven for 10 minutes. Cook the food until it's almost done.

 Remove the sizzle plates from the oven and set them into the bamboo stand. Lightly coat the bottom of the hot plate with vegetable oil. Or

 Heat up the plate in medium heat for about 5 to 10 minutes before the food is ready to serve.

Lightly coat the bottom of the hot sizzling plate with vegetable oil. 

When the plate is slightly smoking, it is ready to use. 

Pour the food away instead of towards you so you will not burn yourself.
