They shipped this with the connector wire twisted 180 degrees and I plugged it in just as it came. It fried my computer. The connector design from HP is stupid, allowing the connector to plug in either way. But the people who design this battery should never have reverse twisted the connector wire on my unit! Now I have to buy a new computer. And they should have a warning on the battery advising to compare the conductor colors to be sure the wiring is correct. The battery may be fine but if you buy it, compare the color of your old conductor wires to the ones on this battery to ensure you are plugging it in the right away. So disappointing.
