The A Court of Thorns and Roses series, by Sarah J. Maas, follows Feyre, a huntress who kills a wolf in the woods and is then taken to the faerie realm as punishment. She navigates a dangerous and alluring world of fae, falls in love, faces her demons, and discovers her true strength. The series expands with stories of Feyre's sister Nesta and explores themes of love, loyalty, sacrifice, and courage in a world of magic, political intrigue, and breathtaking battles.
Feyre's survival rests upon her ability to hunt and kill - the forest where she lives is a cold, bleak place in the long winter months. So when she spots a deer in the forest being pursued by a wolf, she cannot resist fighting it for the flesh. But to do so, she must kill the predator and killing something so precious comes at a price ...Dragged to a magical kingdom for the murder of a faerie, Feyre discovers that her captor, his face obscured by a jewelled mask, is hiding far more than his piercing green eyes would suggest

I recently bought these books and, aside from a few issues, I have no complaints. The printing job on some of the books leaves a lot to be desired, some of the books have very small prints, although I can still read them, and the covers have a weird white streak at the end, as if the printed paper wasn’t enough to cover the entire book, but it is just a small line, so not too much of a bother. My biggest complaint is with the second book, Mist and Fury. The shop printed a fanfic written from Rhysand’s POV, instead of the actual book that was mainly written from Feyre’s. You can easily tell it’s not the same writer, and I wish I had gotten the actual book instead of the fanfic. I have no problem with the rest of the books, although I haven’t had a chance to read them yet.
