This torch is bright and has no Holder Mains Connection. can used on during power loss or when you switch off main switch when there is power supply for remote switch off (great where there is no bedside switch for the main light for switch off when in bed). Up-to 4 hours lighting during power loss.  Regular bulb connects through it (need be an energy saving bulb to prevent damage to the unit as regular bulbs get too hot and damage the unit). Recharged when regular power is on.  Manual switch on an off button is available on the unit. Do not use the emergency bulb as your main lighting source, for a longer lifespan. Over 100000 hours projected lighting when used correctly.
