Kenagro EMMARON 30SC INSECTICIDE

It's an Insecticide used for control of Caterpillars, Fruit Fly & Bollworm in Tomatoes, Diamond Back Moth (DBM) in Broccoli and Thrips in Roses.

Mode of action: It is a non-systemic insecticide which penetrates leaf tissues by translam movement. Lufenuron acts mostly by ingestion. larvae are unable to move and also cease feeding.

Composition and Mode of Action

Emmaron 30SC contains two active ingredients:

Lufenuron (100g/L): An insect growth regulator that disrupts the development of insect larvae by inhibiting chitin synthesis, which is essential for the formation of the exoskeleton.

Emamectin benzoate (200g/L): A non-systemic insecticide derived from a naturally occurring soil bacterium, Streptomyces avermitilis. It acts by causing insect paralysis through suppressing muscle contraction and stopping feeding. It functions as a chloride channel activator and exhibits a translaminar effect.

Applications

Emmaron 30SC is used to control various pests on different crops:

Tomatoes: Effective against caterpillars, fruit flies, and bollworms.

Broccoli: Controls diamondback moths (DBM).

Roses: Targets thrips and other pests.

Usage Instructions

Application Rate: 15ml per 20 liters of water.

Application Timing: Apply at the first signs of infestation or egg hatch peak period before the 3rd instar larvae. Repeat applications as necessary, following the recommended intervals.

Preparation of Spray Mixture: Fill the spray tank with half the required amount of water. Add the required amount of Emmaron 30SC and fill the water to the required level. Agitate to ensure thorough mixing. Use the spray mixture on the same day of preparation.

Precautions

Phytotoxicity: When used as recommended, Emmaron 30SC is not phytotoxic.
