Cetraben® Lotion provides a lighter option for patients for use between flare-ups. Its light and cosmetically acceptable feel makes it ideal for use on the face, hands and hirsute skin. Cetraben® Lotion can be used where patient compliance is a challenge. It contains:
- White soft forms a protective barrier on skin surface and decreases transepidermal water loss TEWL
- Light liquid replaces lost skin oils to increase skin surface lipids (SSL)
- Glycerin (humectant) attracts and holds water in the outer layers of the skin and to compensate for reduced levels of Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) in diseased and older skin
