Makita Accessories ANGLE GRINDER 4.5 inches

I don't like it

The “Accessories ANGLE GRINDER 4.5 inches” that I recently purchased from Jumia, was advertised as a Makita Accessories ANGLE GRINDER 4.5 inches when, in fact, it is a fake and a poor imitation of a genuine Makita Angle Grinder 4.5 inches. The “Makita” label on the box containing the product and the angle grinder itself are neither machine printed nor engraved, but simply stickers. I only discovered this after opening the plastic bag draping the box containing the grinder and could therefore not return the product. I had earlier returned a similar product advertised as a DeWalt Electric Angle Grinder Machine when, in fact, it was also a fake product. The box containing this product had no DeWalt brand name anywhere on it. Fortunately, the box was not wrapped in a plastic bag like the one above. My advice to Jumia Team: Avoid using your business as a conduit for disposing of fake imitations guised as branded products complete with brand names and colors. What a client sees in your advertisements including brand names and colors, should be what they get and pay for NOT fake imitations. However, if you MUST sell these imitations, please do so but without brand names. They must also be cheaper than the branded products because they lack warranty. Short of this, you might find yourselves sued for selling fake products by false pretense. Just advertise and sell them as non-branded products without warranty. People will still buy them.
