Mig Flux Core Wire

Self-shielding: The flux inside the wire melts during welding to produce a protective gas shield, unlike traditional MIG wire that requires a separate external gas supply.
Versatility: It can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications, with a particular advantage in windy conditions where it outperforms gas-shielded MIG welding.
Penetration: Flux core wire generally provides deep penetration, making it ideal for welding thicker metals.
Post-weld cleaning: The process produces a layer of slag on the weld, which must be removed after welding is complete.
Spatter and smoke: It generates more spatter and smoke compared to solid wire welding.
Polarity: Typically runs on DCEN (Direct Current Electrode Negative) polarity.
Application: Works well on dirty or rusty surfaces where thorough pre-cleaning is difficult.
