Golden Linseed, also known as flaxseed. Linseeds are a great source of dietary fibre. It is recommend eating linseeds can help relieve constipation. Linseeds are the richest plant source of omga 3 fats, which are essential for a healthy brain, heart, joints and immune system. Due to the high content of plant chemicals known as phytoestrogens, linseeds have been called nature's answer to hormone replacement therapy.

Adding flaxseed to the diet might increase the number of bowel movements each day. It might also cause gastrointestinal (GI) side effects such as bloating, gas, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, stomachache, and nausea.

Linseeds are often recommended by both clinicians and dietitians as a source of dietary fibre to alleviate symptoms.
