Nazava water filters work with a 3 step purification process: 

1. The first step is a ceramic filtration membrane with pores of less than 0.4 micrometer, 20 times smaller than a human hair. Bacteria and dirt cannot pass this membrane 
2. The second step consists of nano-silver that is mixed with the ceramic. The nano-silver particles kill bacteria that are stuck in the filter and keeps your family healthy for the lifetime of the filter.
3. The third step consist of high quality (1100 Iodine) certified, activated carbon from premium coconut shells that is processed to remove harmful chemicals from the water and to improve the freshness.

The clean, filtered water is stored in a large16L pure food contact safe PP plastic  container that is made store your water safely.  This means you will never run out of water anymore.

Spare parts are available.

Maintenance is easy. The filter element can be cleaned with the scrubbing sponge included in the package.  The plastic containers can be washed with water and detergent.  There is a end of life indicator so you know when to replace your filter element.
