cranberry concentrate is most commonly used for the prevention and treatment of urinary tract infections (UTIs).
It works by creating an acidic environment in the urinary tract, hindering the proliferation of bacteria. Some of the chemicals in cranberries also work by making it difficult for bacteria to stick to the cells that line the urinary tract where they can multiply and therefore prevent infection.
