Active Ingredient

Mode of Action

Systemic Action: Glyphosate is absorbed through the foliage and translocated rapidly to the roots, stolons, tubers, or rhizomes of perennial unwanted plants. It inhibits the enzyme EPSP synthase, which is essential for the synthesis of certain amino acids. This disruption leads to the cessation of protein synthesis, causing the plant to die.

Target Unwanted Plants

Annual Unwanted Plants: Controls common annual unwanted plants such as crabgrass, foxtail, pigweed, and lambsquarters.

Biennial Unwanted Plants: Effective against biennial unwanted plants like wild carrot, bull thistle, and burdock.

Perennial Unwanted Plants: Provides control of perennial unwanted plants such as quackgrass, johnsongrass, and bindweed.

Low Unwanted Plant Pressure: 200ml per 20 liters of water (2.5 liters per hectare).

High Unwanted Plant Pressure: 400ml per 20 liters of water (3 liters per hectare).

Application Timing: Apply post-emergence when unwanted plants are actively growing and have sufficient leaf area to absorb the herbicide. The best results are achieved when unwanted plants are young and actively growing.

Compatibility: Incompatible with alkaline materials, anionic surfactants, and clay-containing inert materials. Always read the label for specific mixing instructions.
