Bake and make chapatis, mandazis, pancakes and other favorites with Pembe Home Baking Flour made from pure wheat with vitamins and minerals. Whole wheat flour is made by grinding whole and raw Lokwan wheat grains. It is a good source of dietary fibre and protein, is low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium and it retains the benefits of the bran and the germ of the wheat grain. The germ is the vitamin and mineral rich embryo of the wheat kernel that is removed during the refining of whole wheat grains to white flour. Packed with important B vitamins, such as folate, thiamine, vitamin B6 and the minerals zinc, magnesium and manganese.

- Soft Chapatis: Mix 2kg of flour with warm water/milk, oil, sugar, and salt to taste. Knead well, let the dough rest, divide into balls, roll out, and cook on a hot pan with oil until golden brown.
- Mandazi (Doughnuts): Combine the flour with sugar, baking powder (approx. 3 tsp for 2kg), margarine/butter, and egg. Knead into a soft dough using warm milk/water, shape, and deep fry.
- Pancakes & Cakes: Use as a base for recipes, ensuring a consistent texture for fluffy results.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness.
