A Hydration Support Formula with Ultra-Pure, Vegan Hyaluronic Acid
Hi!I wanted to talk about hyaluronic acid today. I absolutely love products with HA! It's one of the top three humectants I look for in my moisturizers.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a substance found naturally in our skin that holds water and helps keep it hydrated and plump. The molecule holds a thousand times its weight in water to not only retain all that moisture in our skin, but also prevent all that moisture from evaporating into the air. Studies have also shown it to have wound healing properties (1). .
Just like collagen and elastin, the amount of naturally-occurring hyaluronic acid in our bodies decreases as we get older. Because of its ability to draw and hold water, it can be used as a humectant in our skincare regimen. Basically, it continually keeps skin moisturized throughout the day☺️ .
Hyaluronic acid plays well with most other ingredients and can be paired with peels, retinols, vitamins, and other acids. The only exception would be acids with low pH levels, like glycolic acid, because it may degrade the HA and make it ineffective. .
Since hyaluronic acid is something our bodies already produce, it's safe to use in all skin types! .
