1.     Locate a power outlet: Find a power outlet near the area where you want to extend your Wi-Fi signal. The outlet should be within a reasonable distance of your router, but still within range of the area you want to cover.

2.     Reset the range extender: Press and hold the reset button on the side of the RE-200 for about 5-10 seconds until the power LED starts flashing. This will reset the range extender to its default settings.

3.     Connect to the range extender: Using a Wi-Fi-enabled device such as a laptop, smartphone, or tablet, connect to the Wi-Fi network named "TP-Link_Extender_XXXXXX" (the X's represent the last six digits of the range extender's MAC address, which can be found on the bottom of the device).

4.     Configure the range extender: Open a web browser and enter "tplinkrepeater.net" in the address bar. If the page does not load, try "192.168.0.254" or "192.168.1.1". You will be prompted to enter a username and password. The default username is "admin" and the password is also "admin".

5.     Select your Wi-Fi network: Once logged in, select the Wi-Fi network you want to extend from the list of available networks. Enter the password for your network when prompted and click "Next".

6.     Configure the extender's settings: Choose your preferred network name (SSID) and password for the extended network. You can also select the wireless frequency band (2.4GHz or 5GHz) you want to use for the extended network.

7.     Save the settings: After configuring the settings, click "Save" to apply the changes. The range extender will reboot and apply the new settings.

8.     Connect to the extended network: Once the range extender has rebooted, connect your Wi-Fi-enabled devices to the new extended network using the new network name and password you configured.
