The Wahl Root Straightening Hot Comb allows you to effortlessly and evenly smooth out kinks and frizz right from the root of your hair. Ideal for straightening coarse, curly, frizzy and afro Caribbean hair types as well as wigs. With a ceramic coated barrel which locks in moisture and delivers a smooth and shiny finish. The fine-tooth comb protects the scalp and allows the heated barrel to get close to the roots without the risk of burning your skin. The Root Straightening Hot Comb has variable heat settings from 100°c - 220°c, which allows you to select the best temperature for your hair texture and thickness, ideal for afro and textured hair types. The four heat settings appear on an LCD screen, so you can choose from fine (100°c), normal (160°c), thick (190°c) and coarse (220°c). The hot comb has a quick heat up time of just 60 seconds so you won't need to wait long to begin styling your hair. The tool has a power indicator which will light up when it has reached the selected temperature. Fitted with a long 3 m cord which has 360° swivel, the hot comb makes styling your hair from any angle easy. For best results, it's recommended that you use the Root Straightening Hot Comb on dry, clean hair. Suitable for afro Caribbean hair types: 2a, 2b, 2c, 3a, 3b, 3c, 4a, 4b and 4c. The Wahl Root Straightening Hot Comb can be used on human hair / natural hair wigs, hairpieces and extensions. However, please note the hot comb must be used on a lower temperature between 150 and 180 degrees and you should also check the instructions that come with you wigs, hairpieces and extensions.
