So far so good! I love it

Working well so far. However was not branded like the one I ordered for. It is exactly what I had before which stopped working in less than 6 months. I'm watchfully waiting to document the lifespan!

Detailed Review

In short, the remote is good. Gets the job done and functionally works similar to the original remote that came with my TCL P715 TV. The Good. The delivery was quick. Very quick. I ordered on Thursday, and it was ready for pickup by Saturday. The remote was brand new and with no fault. Works fine. The Bad The remote is not an exact copy of the original remote that comes with the TV. The plastic is of less quality, the design and the buttons are less elegant. In your hand, the overall feel of the remote is cheap compared to the original. I suppose nobody is to blame for this except TCL, either they are making cheaper replacement remotes, or they have left this business to another company because this is the remote sold by every seller on Jumia while TCL itself is not selling any. I said the remote is functionally similar to the original. Even visually they look alike but there are minor differences. The T-Channel button, Apps button, and a few others are swapped. No big deal. The only thing that irritates me is that I could not pair the remote with the TVs Google Assistant. The remote works except the Assistant button.
