Nairobi, Kenya 20th May 2015, Kenya’s leading online mall Jumia has today announced a new version of its android application: Jumia Android app version 2.5- Live
The new app offers a new, smooth and fast homepage allowing you to browse easily through a catalogue of over 100,000 products on Jumia, a new layout for product specifications page and navigation drawer. In addition, the app has been customized to filter by country and an alert users of the latest deals and offers at the swipe of the finger.
“We are excited to launch our updated android app,” said Parinaz Firozi, MD Jumia Kenya. “You can search, buy, pay and track your order seamlessly anywhere, anytime on your android smartphone.”
The search bar allows users to find the products they desire by brand, lowest price, highest price, most popular, by colour, new in, best rating and offers them the option to select their preferred method of payment among several options that include Pay on delivery, mobile money transfer or credit card.
Additionally customers can read, rate and review products through the app. Firozi adds that additional functionality will be coming to other mobile apps too in the near future to further improve the mobile shopper’s experience. The new android version is available in the play store for free.
