★☆☆☆☆ – Disappointed After a Year of Use I bought this electric kettle online a year ago, and I honestly regret it. At first, it worked fine, but within a few months, the lid stopped closing properly, and the plastic handle started to loosen. The worst part is that it began making a strange buzzing noise and occasionally wouldn’t shut off automatically, which is a serious safety hazard. Also, who designed this thing with the shortest power cord ever? It’s barely a foot long, which made placement in my kitchen super inconvenient unless I wanted it dangling off the edge of the counter—super unsafe. Now, a year later, it barely heats water, and I’ve completely stopped using it. Definitely not built to last. Would not recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable appliance. Spend a little more and get something better.
