I've had this for about a year and a half, and I'm surprised it's still working. The kettles I've bought at this price point usually die after a year, but this one's still soldiering on. Mind you, I only used it for about 4-6 minutes a day, so no heavy boiling. It probably won't last very long if you're running a soup kitchen or something. The lid came off at some point, so I had to attach it back (it's still a bit loose). It would've been nice if it were sturdier, but again, at this price, I expect such things. I'd only recommend this for someone who does light to medium boiling. For more heavy-duty usage, a more reputable brand is better, but this pushed me for a while, so it might work for you too.
