How to use the the tester pencil:

• To Find Live Wires - Probe the wire & if it is live, the light in the handle will glow.
• To Find Broken Wires - Probe along the wire until the tester does not light. This will tell you the point at which the wire is broken.
• To Test Fuses - probe the tip of the tester to terminal after fuse. If tester glow, then fuse is good.
• To Test Light Sockets (Brake Lights, Back-up Lights, etc) - probe alligator clip to chassis or ground and then probe to the tongue at the base of the shell.
