Earsmate Completely-in-Canal (CIC) Hearing Aids

The devices operate using essential components including a microphone to pick up sound, an amplifier and microchip (signal processor) to make it louder and clearer, and a loudspeaker to deliver the amplified sound to the eardrum. Due to their small size, the hearing aids typically use small size 10 zinc-air batteries (or are rechargeable in some advanced models), which may require more frequent replacement than larger styles. A tiny removal line is often the only part visible outside the ear canal, aiding in insertion and removal. The volume can be adjusted via a small tool or an external remote control/smartphone app, as on-device controls are limited by the small form factor.
