【How does the PI & RR help?】

 

Perfusion Index

 

The Perfusion Index (PI) informs you of the strength of your pulse. If the PI value is less than 0.2%, this means that your hands are either too cold or improperly positioned in the pulse oximeter. Simply warm your finger and reposition it so that it is right between

 

the LED light and sensor. No more second if the readings are reliable or why the pulse oximeter is not giving a reading.

 

Respiration Rate

 

Respiration Rate (RR) is the number of breaths per minute .It is an important diagnostic basis in clinical diagnosis .Unusually high or low indicates the likelihood of some diseases , such as bradypnea, apnea, and shortness of breath .

 

【What's ODI4】 ?

 

“ODI4” (Oxygen desaturation Index of 4%) means Events of Desaturation which is not less than 4% per hour during the total recording time.

 

ODI4 indicates the severity of hypoxia during sleep, if this number is greater than 5, please go to the for further examination.

 

The analysis result of ODI may inaccurate when total sleep time is less than 2 hours . The maximum of recording time is 8 hours .
