An old bottling of Negrita Rum – a brand produced by French spirits experts Bardinet, founded back in 1857 – this is a blend of dark rums from the Caribbean.

This premium Negrita Rum presents itself as full-bodied and reflects many facets of tropical fruit such as caramelized pineapple and ripe bananas. 

The taste of prunes can also be discovered which are covered by a hint of elegant vanilla beans and bring forth an interesting, sweetish aroma in the finish of the rich Negrita Rum, which is also known as Negrita Carta Negra. In addition the senses are served fine tones of liquorice and molasses. Overall a particularly pure smoky finish and its full intensity unfolds when served on ice. 

To ensure quality, Negrita Rum has opted for a blend of aged Rums with an at least 4 years resting period in American white oak. Only after this period is the valuable aroma of burnt oak barrels transmitted to its optimum. Prior to the so-called maturity phase, maestros de Ron Bacardi charcoal filters the spirit once according to the family recipe, which is   strictly followed to ensure the unique pleasure of the Bacardi Black Rum.
