Design and build

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus has a striking look. Careful now because the beauty and aesthetics might play the main role in making the absence of 3.5mm jack and Bixby button (never important though) go unnoticed. Need I mention how symmetrically the Note 10+ has been built? Need I tell you about the front and back glass panels, with the aluminum frame? I think I also need not remind you of the delivered promise of the hole punch camera which’s placement has added to the general looks of this work of art. Beauty is a thing of personal preference okay, but all rules have exceptions. All will agree with me when I say Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus is a joy to have, look at and even hold. It weighs about 196 grams.

The back panel has its triple camera lens in a vertical orientation on the top right corner with flash and sensors to the right of it. You will also notice Samsung branding on the reflective glass back panel of Note+. Under the display is where the fingerprint scanner is embedded. Do not forget about the now improved and feature-packed S-pen which has its shelter at the bottom right corner. Come to think of it, what is a Note without a pen? Useless, even when considered literally.

Display

The display type on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus is a Dynamic AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. It is a 6.8 inches panel of 114.0 cm2 surface area and ~91.0% screen-to-body ratio. The display boasts 1440 x 3040 pixels resolution. The~498 PPI density on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus is higher than on its smaller brother. This is neat! Corning Gorilla Glass protection is not an official grant to knock hard on its HDR10+ compliant display. Of course, there is an Always-on display feature that allows you to see your notifications without turning your display on.

Camera

Here we will talk about the camera performance of a great camera phone. Think about video recording capability among other worthwhile features. You get 2160p@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/240fps, 720p@960fps, HDR10+, dual-video rec., stereo sound. This with the main camera on the back. The front-facing camera also shoots high-quality videos at 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps with its 10 MP, f/2.2, 26mm (wide), 1.22µm, Dual Pixel PDAF hole-punch selfie camera.

The lenses on the back constitute a 12MP + 12MP + 16MP; wide, telephoto, and ultrawide camera lenses respectively. Optical Image Stabilization is ensured by the wide lens, whereas the telephoto lens handles effectively 2X zoom and Dual OIS. Well, the ultrawide camera is just what it is. Notice there is yet another TOF 3D VGA camera on the back panel.

Performance

Users of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus will be enjoying the latest software update in Android 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung’s fresh One UI. Samsung’s User Interface has really evolved over the years, but I will not trouble my reader with history lectures, at least not here. You can use a microSD to expand internal storage up to 1 TB (uses shared SIM slot). This provision is only for the dual SIM Note 10+ model only. Choose between a 256GB + 12GB RAM and 512GB + 12GB RAM Note 10+.

Battery 

I have already mentioned some battery features already.  There is a fast battery charging 45W, USB Power Delivery 3.0, Fast Qi/PMA wireless charging 15W, and Powers bank/Reverse wireless charging 9W. It comes with a sealed within non-removable Li-Ion 4300 mAh battery that should see you through a whole day of conventional usage.
