The Tecno phone was announced back in February 2025. The handset features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, a powerful dual main camera set up with a 50MP primary lens and a 32MP selfie camera at the front. It runs on Android 15 with HiOS 15 and is powered by an impressive and capable Mediatek Helio G100 Ultimate processor to meet the rigors and demands of the 4G handset. The Tecno smartphone, a great improvement from the Camon 30 series, is powered by a massive 5,200mAh non-removable battery and recharged by a wired, 45W fast charging unit.

Immediately I bought this phone, I travelled to Rwanda and at JKIA in the morning, the phone went off. When i tried to put it ON, it didnt only showing some parameters like the system is crashed, , I traveled with it, that way and after few days i kept on trying to put it OFF and ON and sometimes it behaved and sometimes not, When i went back in the Country i took the phone to carcare center Thika where they diagonised that the issue was with the software update, the phone worked well untill on 18th November 2025, when the phone prompted for system update as usual and when i activated the software update the phone from there never opened only to give me some error message that the Phone device has been locked, when i contacted the Carcare Thika, I was informed that there is an ongoing check and a new policy for any phone across border to be updated. I didn't understand this well. I was requested to submit my travel stamp document, my ID card photo and an invoice, which I did yesterday, on the 18th. Till now, the phone is still locked for a reason I don't understand. Later, I got feedback from CarCare. The screenshot of the page I took from my Jumia account for the specific product I bought is not the one required for the invoice. I called Jumia and requested the invoice. In all the occasions I have purchased products from Jumia, I have never received a formal invoice detailing the invoice number, product, and price, which the carcare team wants to unlock my phone. Can i have the formal invoice of this product Order No: DS-NAX-333383327-7434 Camon 40 PRO, 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM, 6.78", Dual SIM, 5200mAh, 50MP - Galaxy Black , Order date 24th July 2025. CAN I understand IF I'm GOING TO BE referred to THE CASH OR if I WILL GET ANOTHER PHONE, WHICH IS WHICH?? Iam wondering why all this ??
Ordered it for a friend she never complained about anything
