Lovely opening, but...

The opening is lovely, like sweet fresh cut roses. But I can't get over the patchouli at the base. It leaves a smoky, dirt-like scent that I find quite offensive. It's even worse when sprayed on clothes. However, I'm willing to try other scents by the brand????????
