Fits firmly to my external HDD which is crucial to avoid data loss and filesystem corruption. Sturdy build and nicely long cable keeps attached devices out of the way, unlike those short ones that typically come with ext HDDs. I was concerned at first that its length would hamper efficient power transfer to the HDD, but this was never the case even on USB 2.0 ports. I am more than happy with it and would buy again and recommend to anyone. Fulfillment was timely and facilitated a satisfactory deliver timeline.

Loose connections
The connections on both ends are loose. It is hypersensitive and any slight movement of the device/cable disconnects the device. On re-connection, it brings up errors that the device needs formatting/cannot be recognised.
