mobile touch computer from Datalogic impresses with a wide range of services for versatile use: in incoming goods, in the warehouse, during inventory and as sales support. The 8.1 cm (3.2'') screen features one of the largest color monitors in its class, providing plenty of space for comfortable and clean operation. LED background lighting ensures good readability at all times - regardless of the ambient light.
Scorpio X4 uses a fast Texas Instruments OMAP 4.1 GHz microprocessor, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB Flash memory. Optionally, you can expand the memory up to 32 GB using an SDHC card. The operating system comes pre-installed with Windows Embedded Compact and also offers an update to Android. You can also use licensed PAL software and easily adapt data collection to your needs. 

Individual requirements also attracted attention when designing the mobile computer. Note: Skorpio X4 is available with three different keyboard layouts. Choose from a 28-key numeric field, a 38-key function field and a 50-key alphanumeric field for maximum efficiency.

Scorpio X4 also facilitates mobile exchange: integrated Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11 a/b/g/n WLAN connections ensure access to databases with a suitable network. Moreover, they enable direct communication throughout the facility - in the sales area, in the warehouse, outside and in production areas. Skorpio X4 is CCX V4 certified, so you can take advantage of Cisco WLAN infrastructure. USB and RS232 interfaces are also integrated; Ethernet connections can be made via external single or multiple charging stations.

Whether you choose a 1D or 2D camera, both are ergonomically angled to ensure the image is clearly visible while scanning. Another advantage is Datalogic's patented "Green Spot" technology: successful scans are confirmed by a green light and enable fast and error-free reading of even larger numbers of barcodes. For special scanning-intensive applications, simply order the optional pistol grip. Fasten it in a few simple steps to further simplify operation.

Durable and compact design of Skorpio X4is quickly paid for in demanding everyday life through inventory, incoming goods and shipping: the lightweight case is one of the most durable in its class. Skorpio X4 withstands falls up to 1.8 m without any damage - even on concrete. The IP64 certification provides reliable protection against splashes of water and dust, so even dirty surfaces in the warehouse or sudden rainfall are no problem. You don't have to worry about temperature fluctuations between -10°C and +50°C as the Skorpio X4 will continue to operate safely and reliably within this range.

The battery is easily replaced and can be recharged using an external feeder. You can also simply charge it via the micro USB port directly on the device. For the Skorpio X4 with even more power and longer runtime, order the optional high-capacity battery with 5,200 mAh.
